Ms. Lastition is licensed by the State Bar of Texas to practice law, to give legal advice, and to advocate in court in front of judges. She has six years of experience assisting attorneys with case management and legal briefs for hearings before the VA and the Veterans’ Board of Appeals. Ms. Lastition earned her juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida and her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Florida. She immediately entered the area of estate planning after becoming a licensed attorney. She saw, first-hand, the detrimental effect of poor and incomplete estate planning, which left her own family in conflict after the death of her grandmother. That experience left Ms. Lastition with a passion for helping families avoid court and conflict through smart legal planning. She especially enjoys working with families with young children, and has received special training to help them protect their families and assets in ways that traditional estate planning attorneys typically overlook.
