Today is Marquardt Law Firm’s first anniversary! Praise God for the Blessings I have received this past year.

One year ago I was sitting at my home computer drafting the first of many written business plans. I slashed my home budget, and prayed I would make enough to pay the mortgage. The praying and planning paid off. I made barely enough to pay the mortgage, then the car payment, then office rent, then doctor bills for Thomas’ broken arm. My family and I have weathered the first year humbly, not counting chickens before they hatched, and always with prayer.

Kris, my wife, was the first to wish me a happy anniversary. She has just as much to celebrate as I do. She rode the rollar coaster of a small business with as much enthusiasm as a mother of three could stand. I’m thankful that she supported my dream to own my own law firm. I’m also thankful for clients and friends who have walked this journey with me. I’m thankful for your trust, for your support, and for your referrals.

Now, I look forward to next year – a year of strengthening the relationships that have helped Marquardt Law Firm succeed.
